ATC Doodles #6 (hearts with wings)

Today I have two ATC heart with wings cards.  I am continuing to mess about with fan shapes and thought they would look good as wings attached to hearts. The scanner picked up the two purples in the wings as quite different colors. In real life they actually look more blended. I suppose I could have gone through and fixed the cards in Photoshop, but then, I probably would take even longer to get them posted... so there you are.

 Today I have two color doodles for you. I have been experimenting fan shapes. For some reason #345 makes me think of a Chiquita banana hat (clicking the link will take you to the Chiquita banana site and onthe left is the lady in her hat). I remember their comercials when I was little and card #345 reminds me of the lady dancing in the comercial. I wasn't thinking about bananas (or even fruit) at all while drawing and coloring the card.

For these two flowers I began with the same center, however they evolved differently. I think I like #343 better - it has more contrast.

I was planning on posting these sooner, but I have been busy making ATC's and doing other things. Then it started raining here, which is excellent,  however the internet starts to fade in and out (well more out than in) when it rains. Fortunately the power has remained stable during this rainy period, so right now, I can post these cards.
