Happy Mail Rec'd Jan 2016!

Happy Mail, YAY!

We received some happy mail from our son and his girlfriend today. It is very exciting. She is an architect/artist and has started my son painting. He is having a blast.

They sent artwork, stickers, their business card for a show, a postcard for one of their shows, and a precision glue bottle (which will be perfect for gluing tiny things). Lots of fun things to look at and some are a tactile experience.

Some new flowers filling up two ATCs. I have found a couple of old type and lettering books online and have been perusing them for shapes, patterns, and inspirations. It is rather a fun occupation, but in the short run, not particularly productive. Research always seems to be that way - non-productive unless its used to create something new or reproduce  something. Just musing... 'cause I actually should get something productive done, like the dishes or laundry.
