 Despite the title, one is more of a doodle than a flower...

This is the last one I did on black paper. I like the way they look, but they don't have the color versitility with the materials I have at hand. I decided to pair it with a black ink on white paper ATC for contrast. I liked the patterns in #384 without shading, so I've left it unshaded.

 I was having so much fun highlighting everything (well, nearly everything...) that I bough some Canson 145 lbs A4 paper in BLACK and cut it into ATCs. Naturally I went ot town for a few days... My Sakura Gelly Roll was put to good use, then I got into my Pentel, Zebra, and Roco gel pens. The gold and silver Pentel Hybrid Gels look great on the black paper. It is interesting to see my flowers in negative space.

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone has a happy Easter! We had a small egg hunt for the boys this morning before they left for school. It is fun to watch them hunting up all the eggs and then giving them hints to find the last few.

These ATCs are done on black Canson 145 lb A4 paper with a Pentel silver hybrid gel pen.
