Blues, greens, and purples today. Somehow I got off count and the two fish have the same numbers as two of the butterflies and #200 has disappeared altogether. I think I gave #200 to someone and neglected to get a photo first. Oh well, I do these for fun and to give away, so it's not really important to keep a perfect accounting of them and it only really shows up in the blog when I get off count.
#215 was done on the same day as the waves and #211 was done the day before. I guess I was feeling like doing something just a bit different or I had found some new music as the flowers in #215 look like they are dancing :D
While visiting my parents, one of their friends gave us a wooden oven shelf slider. The hot shelf is pushed in with the fishes mouth and pulled out with the fin/gill area slot. So, I drew him two fish :)
#203 I gave to the waitress at the breakfast we had at the Blue Lake Casino. It was a decent place to stay. I am not a particular fan of gambling, but they gave us each $5 worth of tokens and despite the fact that I don't usually win anything, I won $33.97. So, that was a nice bonus and was quite useful on the trip.
Needless to say I've been busy, really busy. We got our Daughter dropped off at college in late August. She is settling in well. At the same time we were able to visit relatives and show the kids some of our old stomping grounds in California. We had a good trip. The jet lag on the way back hit us all hard, I'm still not sleeping quite like I should. School started for the boys a few days after getting back and we are finally settling into a routine. I'm tutoring again this year and have had to tell a lot of people who want English tutoring that I'm booked. There is just not enough time in the day. I have been drawing intermittently and have finally started the process of scanning to get them ready for posting.
